It's autumn time and the leaves are falling from the trees. It's time to do the yearly chore of gathering up all those leaves and getting them stored away.

You play as Ty, who's chore it is to clean the back yard. He has decided to make a game out of it and see how many he can catch before they hit the ground.

Gather the leaves and get them stored in the wood shed before time runs out!

Catch leaves consecutively to get a streak going and earn some sweet bonuses!

Try to beat your high score and see how many levels you can get to.

Watch out for those pesky squirrels throwing acorns at you!

For what it ultimately a classic and simple game mechanic, this game is really nice! The music is very charming and adds some wonderful ambiance to the setting. Though, I suppose it’s a simple effect, I really liked how the character moved. He was very fluid! I was also really impressed this game even came with a day/night cycle that fit in, mostly, very very well! Nice power-ups and a solid challenge curve, in my humble opinion.

There were a couple things I noticed

With the day/night cycle, though very nicely done, once full-on night hit, it was very difficult to see. It wasn’t a huge deal given the leaves had a nice outline and the night time didn’t last that long, but it did get to me a little bit.

Not sure if this was intentional or if it’s a bug, but, there were times that leaves falling near the left side of the screen would actually fall into the shed, and automatically count to my score. Now
I shouldn’t look a gift point in the shed, but just figured I’d mention it.

I didn’t really notice any change in speed with the speed power-up, to be honest. Perhaps if the power-up granted more speed for less time? Not sure. I knew when I picked up speed, but the change was so slight, I never noticed if the power-up was permanent or temporary.

Lastly, when the screen comes up saying I progressed to the next level, the “Level #” at the bottom-center of the screen doesn’t immediately change. I think it only changed after another message took it’s place (like when breaking a streak, or getting hit by an acorn).

Other than those little issues, which were really mild, this game is great and very well put together!! Excellent work!!

Thanks so much for giving me your feedback!

I had the shed specifically collect the leaves by itself on purpose. I felt like there would be no need to put leaves in the shed if they fell there!

I agree about the dark.. given a little more time I would have added maybe some lamps on the shed or something to give a little light at night. I did want it to get that dark though, but it would be nice to be able to see your character at least.

The speed power ups stack on the bottom left of your screen. They reset at the start of each new level.

I noticed that about the level number, also at the beginning of the game it doesn't show how many leaves you need until you place some in the shed... a couple little ui issues to deal with.

All in all I was happy with how it came out.

Thanks again for the lengthy review!
